An encounter with L

"Yes I Know, The suspect so far has been playing the innocent high school student act. It's easy to see through if your not an idiot but theres nothing he's done yet that I can convict him of"

"I see...I suppose all there is to do now is to be vigilant and watch closely. If he is kira, then there is no doubt he will slip up. Perhaps...if he were kira and
knowing he has ties to police, he would most likely want to get close to you and help in the investigation, however, he would actually wait for the perfect chance to take you off guard then kill you....you can never let your guard down in an investigation such as this....however...I am not an official detective yet...so...you probably wont take me seriously....that doesn't matter...what matters is that kira, the murderer is brought to justice."

"No..I Take everything you are saying into consideration, all of this is true, he would want to get close to the police force to get to me if I were to tell him I was working with the Police force" he mumbled

"I see...I apologize L. I am not of much use to you. This is because you arent telling me what I need to know. Although I am not officially a detective at the moment, I am certain that I will not let you down...although...I see that it is wise not to share classified files with others..."

"Its quite alright" he mumbled and sipped his coffee

Near took a sip of his. He looked back up at L.
"L...so..tell me...what brings you back here to Wammy's? I am certain the 'great detective' L would have better things to do. Are you here on business?" Near asked calmly.

"I Wanted to see my apprentices from my own point of view" he mumbled

"I see...well, what is it like to be back, L?"

"Very..Different" he mumbled "The only thing untouched is my room" he muttered

"I see...well then, L, welcome back home.
I've read a lot about your past cases in our library, such as the great detective war case as well as the Los Angeles BB murder cases. Impressive. I can see why everyone says you to be so great. I have noticed that you never solved a case on your own."

"Solving a case isn't very easy, Even for me. I Don't like confronting murderers" he mumbled "So thats where the others come in"

"I see...so you are afraid of something after all, L. Seeing as to the fact that you use others to investigate for you, while you purely calculate results.
It is perfectly fine to use pawns for investigations...however, it is only fine if you at least put some effort into it, yourself. If you can't win the game, if you can't solve the puzzle, then you're nothing but a loser..."Near said as he finished his coffee and placed the empty cup on the table. He then picked up a few sugar cubes, stacked them, and then ate them one by one.

"I actually Planned on investigating myself this time around" he mumbled "It's just not what im accustomed to" he muttered

"I see...but that isn't the point....I was not speaking of this time around yet I was clearly speaking of in general. This can be your greatest weakness to kira if you aren't careful. I suggest you get used to it or it could bring you nothing but failure in this preticular case."

"I don't plan on failing, But im 95 no 96% sure I will find Kira very soon" he muttered

"L, failure is often never planned and if you already found the prime suspect kira then you have already found kira. From what you said before, your suspect can only be kira. So, the question is not that you will find kira, the question is...when will you put forth the initiative to convict him..."

"Of course I Will" he mumbled and sipped his tea "I Don't ever let my suspect slip through my grasp"

"I see...very well then. L.....I must say..it was nice to meet you face to face....

"..Yes I found this interesting as well" he muttered
