Lunch Time

Hikari got a chair and opened the fridge and freezer. He placed the chair infront of both and sat down one leg kneeling on the chair and the other leg hanging down. He looked inside and anything sweet or any finger foods he began to eat wheather it was hot or cold.

~A~ walked in the kitchens and was amused at what was in front of her . She leaned on the door frame.

" Having fun?" she replied amused.

Hikari leaned back to see ~A~. He had a cold dumpling he found in the fridge in his mouth. He chewed and swallow and smiled at her.

"Yep" he said

She walked over and moved him over with her hip grabbing the dumplings.

" These are mine"

"Im terrible sorry, I got hungry and I love dumplings and they were there so yeah...", Hikari said rubbing the back of his head slightly blushing. "So hows Near?", he asked changing the topic.

She placed the plate on the table after heating them up and mixed soy sauce and vinegar.


" How would I know?" she asked curiously.

Hikari turned to her. "You guys kissed earlier...Most people thing you guys are a couple after all you two spend a lot of time together. It doesnt take a genius to put to and to together" he said with a smile as he found a chocolate bar in the fridge...

She took a bite glaring.

" That never happened" she said " Its merely a rumor"

Hikari smiled..."I was there when it happened...I dont know if you remember but I was in the corner of the room", he said with a sheepish smile.

Her cheeks reddened .

" Well then here's the deal" she replied " Don't tell anyone or else I kill you" she whispered then smirked

Hikari moved his hand over his mouth as if he used a zipper to seal it and then he smiled. "Dont worry, I'll keep your secret as long as I can get another dumpling" he said with a smile.

She laughed slightly and slide the plate his direction.

" Deal"

Hikai stopped the plate and cut the dumpling in half. "I figure you like your dumplings so I'll only take half" he said as he passed the plate back towards her.

She smiled and nodded.

" That is very considerate of you"

"So..What do you intend to do after you leave here?" he askec curiously.

She let out a smiled as she ate one dumpling.

" Well I might go back to Paris" she replied

"Ohh Paris, the city of love...Figures thats where you come from", he said with a slight smile.

She looked at him curiously.

" What is that comment supposed to mean" she replied

"That someone as lovely as yourself came from the city of love", he said, his slight smile now a grin.

Her cheeks reddened and she looked down getting a dumpling and dipping it in the sauce.

" How sweet " she replied " But Paris is my true home I think, I want to have a normal life, if I cannot become a successor"

Benjamin walks into the lunch room walks over to the fridge and gets out a cherry Popsicle and sits down at a table and rolls up his sleeves that cover his hands and puts the popsicle in his mouth and took out his deck of cards and shuffles them silently as he layed back in his chair
"mmm i love cherries" he said to himself

"Well, Im pretty sure its either Near or Mello that would succeed L if anything happened to him. Would you be able to live a normal life if-" he was saying until he noticed someone.

"Hey", he said to the newcomer.

Benjamin looked over at them
"oi pardon me i didn't know anyone else was in here i do apologize if i interrupted anything "

She looked at him curiously when he stopped talking.

" If?" she asked.

She turned to look at him.

" Hello"

Benjamin gave them both a little wave with his hand as he thought to himself
so thats ~A~ i never thought i would actually meet i hear she was one of the smartest kids here
