Wammy's Library [private]

Carys walked into the library, and selected her favourite book; The Shining. She smiled and sat down on one of the leather couches, before becoming totally engrossed in the book, oblivious to everyone around her.

Matt entered the library with his game on his hand, looking for Carys. He noticed how she was so focused and sat in front of her, sure she wouldn't notice him

"HEY!" he shouted, causing a massive "Shhhh"

Carys looked up, ready to glare, but her expression softened when she saw Matt.

"Hey Matty," she smiled "what's up?"

"Not much, I was kinda looking for you" he answered, laying back on the chair and putting his feet on the table

"What are you reading?"

She smiled and blushed a little "The Shining."

"It's awesome, you should read it sometime."

"No, that'd take my time away from the games, and I haven't beaten some people yet" he answered nodding

"I'll probably read it sometime when I'm 30" he added, laughing quietly

"No offense on you, book muncher"

"None taken," she giggled and shook her head "What game are you playing?"

"I'm still playing pokemon, my piece of shit won't evolve" he said, annoyed and turning on his DS

"But that's not important right now, I wanted to talk to you"

Carys put her book down and turned to him "Okay, that works."

"well, talk" he said smiling

"I came here to talk to you, I don't wanna talk though, I'm no good at that" he said looking at her

"I'd rather listen to you"

"Well...um..." she blushed and smiled "I don't know what to say..."

"What did you wanna talk about?"

"As I said, I'd like to listen to you talking. It calms me" he said, smiling

"You're the only one that cares to actually tell me something even when I'm being rude"

She smiled "Well um..."

"I think Near and Angel might be dating," she shrugged, trying to think of things to say "They've been together so much lately."

"They're both small, awkward and annoying, I'm pretty sure they'll do fine" he said with a cocky smile

"I don't get the whole dating thing, I just don't find it amusing"

Carys shrugged, her heart sinking a little "I don't understand it all."

"It's...complicated."

"I hope I never have the urge to do it, from what I've seen, it complicates life and takes away from important stuff" he commented, nodding

She nodded and bit her lip.

"Yeah..." she said quietly, fidgeting with her hands.

"Everything alright?" he asked, looking at her a bit embarrassed

"You seem to have changed your mood"

"I'm fine," she smiled "I was just thinking, that's all..."

"About what?" he asked, curiously

Carys shhok her head "It's nothing."

"I'd like to know" he insisted, laying back on his chair

She smirked cockily and laughed.

"You'll never find out. You'd have to kill me first."

Matt stood up from his chair and walked up to her, getting their faces really close together

"I can kill you" he said, smiling

"Go for it," she smirked, looking straight up at him "I dare you."
