Light entered his home and walked up the stairs to his bedroom. He closed his door and locked it behind him. He looked up at the phantom apparition in front of him.
It was the shinigami Ryuk."Don't worry, Ryuk, I haven't forgotten.
Light smiled darkly as he reached into his bag and tossed him an apple. "Looks like its going to be another long night. Are you up for more entertainment, Ryuk?" Light reached over and pulled out a pen from a cup.He twisted it open and pulled the ink cartrage out. He inserted it into a small whole under the desk and lifed up a false bottom, revealing his death note. He puled it out and placed it on the desk and pulled it open. Light sat in his chair, turning on his desk light.
Light started writing names many weeks in advance to avoid suspicious if he were to be in an accident or if something were to happen.
